Danny Ross, president of the Cortland Celtic Cultural Association, recently accepted the donation of a Celtic Knot wallhanging to be raffled off to benefit the Cortland Celtic Festival. This 55" x 55" quilted wallhanging was adapted from Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan of Possibilities' pattern Sunflower Fields found in their book Super Simple Triangles. The quilt was made and donated by Joanne Brown of Marathon. The wallhanging was unveiled at the recent Cortland County Business Showcase.
The drawing for this beautiful Celtic Knot wallhanging will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007, at the Celtic Breakfast. For more information, please contact the Cortland Youth Bureau at 607-753-3021.
Tickets are $5 each and all proceeds will assure that the annual Celtic Festival continues in Cortland.
