Food and Gift Vendor Registration InformationYou are Invited to the Cortland Celtic Festival 2007!Dear Vendor, In case you haven't heard the exciting news -- the 2007 Cortland Celtic Festival is moving to downtown Cortland on August 25! Using downtown Cortland as the venue for the 2007 Cortland Celtic Festival creates a convenient and dynamic environment for food, music, activities, exhibitions, and Celtic merchandise. The location and timing of the 2007 Cortland Celtic Festival also takes advantage of Downtown Cortland's close proximity to SUNY Cortland. This is the weekend 7,000 students return to their "home away from home." Traditionally these students bring their families for move-in weekend. Vendor space is available in 10'x10' blocks starting at $135 per block. This year's festival provides a wonderful showcase for your merchandise, food, and/or non-alcoholic beverage offerings. To secure your spot, please complete the registration form and return with payment before July 1, 2007 to the Cortland Youth Bureau at the address below. Final payment must be received by July 1, 2007. Food vendors are required to apply for and obtain all permits from the Cortland County Health Department ([607] 753-5036) prior to the event. Electricity will be provided at an additional cost. Feel free to contact me at (607) 745-1485 to determine if we are able to meet your specific needs. Self-contained units are encouraged. Water requirements, extension cords, special electrical connections/hookups, sales tax issues, and tents are the vendor's responsibility. Setup begins at 4 PM on Friday, August 24 and must be completed by 9 AM on Saturday, August 25. We have tentative plans for a Sunday afternoon event; however, breakdown must be completed by 6 PM Sunday afternoon, August 26. Please join us for the Friday evening concert kickoff of the festival.
